Hello
Good morning! I'm Walter from Charlotte, North Carolina. Due to my cousin talking about E55's for a few years now and how he's been working on his, I kinda didn't think too much of it. Well, he took me for a ride, albeit a very short one, and that's all I needed, I was hooked. After scouring the country for a nice, well maintained example I'm happy to say I will be flying down to south Florida to pick up my new(?) Black Opal W211 E55 on the 1st of July. So, after creeping here for a while and reading what seems like endless threads, I decided to join my first forum with the hope that I can contribute at some point. Thanks!

Welcome to MBWorld and grats on the pickup! Can't go wrong with a w211 AMG. Classic styling, with a ton of power potential. Perfect blend of luxury and performance.
Let us know if you want to modernize her with some brighter and whiter LED/HID lights. You'll notice once you pick her up that she'll have dingy yellowish front parking lights and rear plates. Also if the HIDs haven't been replaced yet, bulb is probably reaching end of life. We specialize in plug and play canbus units that will give her a modern facelift and make a dramatic difference in aesthetics and performance
