Goodbye 7.3L Excursion HELLO 2014 GL350
New member saying hi.
I've been searching for a used GL350 for a long time.
Forums helped me decide to wait for a 2013+
It took several months of searching, but last week I bought a Black 2014 GL350 (Auburn Brown Interior) with just the right options, without a bunch I didn't want.
I HAD to have cooled seats - I have them in my F-250 & love them. It would bother me if my 2012 Ford had such a nice feature & my new Benz didn't!
So I flew out to myrtle Beach SC & picked it up.
Then an 18 hour drive from the East Coast back home to familiarize myself with it.
It's a Mercedes CPO and I worked in another 2 years of warranty so I'm covered for 3 years unlimited mileage. AND this month M-B includes 2 years/ 2 service complementary.
So I'm selling my 7.3L Ford Excursion and replacing it with another 7 passenger diesel, which was harder than I expected. Why doesn't Chevy / GMC put a diesel in their big SUV's??
So there's my story. Now if this is like most forums I need to go read about all the problems and add-ons I need to address & throw money at
