Greetings from Franklin, Indiana
I have had my 2003 c240 base model going on 4 years.
i traded a 91 mustang gt for it. At the time the c240 had 160,000 miles on it and it had a new transmission in it (not sure why the trans failed so early ) I needed a good reliable daily driver for my 60 miles per day round trip journey to work and back. The car now has 210.000 miles on it. I have replaced the brakes, radiator, alternator, battery, and several oil changes.
I find the c240 to be very easy to work on. Ive built several hot rods and drag race cars and Im a pretty decent mechanic.
Because I am one of those guys that cant leave things stock I recently got the itch to change the stance and appearance of the car. So I lowered the front and put some AMG wheels on it. I took it to a shop that I like to use and had them replace inner and outter tie rods and front sway bar endlinks.
i also had them install the caster camber slotted bolts for front end alignment. They were able to dial the front wheels in almost perfect.
On the rear camber arms I had them install adjustable camber bushings. they dialed in camber and caster however they couldnt figure out how to adjust the toe. He thought I might need another set of adjustable bushings.
However after doing some searching on this forum I found the thrust arms already have cam bolts. So it will be going back to get the alignment finished properly. However before I take it back I am going to go ahead and install the rear lowering springs. When the camber was off in the rear I was happy with the stance. Now that he corrected camber the rear needs an inch lower.
The only other mods to the car is a touchscreen head ubit with navigation and some subs and amp.
Thats about it for now ill be back searching as needed

The alignment shop had no issues. Even though its pretty low.
I Came home, and I installed my sway bar bushing that i had misplaced.
