Just joined today! I have been reading this site for years just waiting until I owned a MB... finally bought a used 2002 S430 with 140K on it... black on black. Already replaced the Airmatic with Strutmasters as it dropped a week after I bought it (3k repair!) all in all I still like it.... Macco said they will do the body work and OEM paint for a little more than $2k, please tell me if I should do it or use another body shop. I call her Sadie and she has a few love lumps but I'm having a blast owning her flat out... no note for me! I can see that it has been hit on the passenger side and the front bumper has a crack... couple dings and scratches, but still looks great coming out of the car wash. I want to put AMG 19" on it but my wife likes the chrome. Please chime in, I'm excited for any feedback.
