2006 C230 Sport
U0155

Hello! I have a 2006 C230 Sport that has intermittent electrical issues. When I put the key in the ignition, there's no communication between the key and EIS. I have to press the lock button on the key while it's in the ignition for it to communicate in order to turn the key to the next position. Sometimes it will start when I turn it over. Sometimes it won't. If it doesn't, then I have to remove the key from the ignition and start the process again. When it does turn over, I may or may not have gauges, windows, heat, blinkers. When there's no dash function, if I press and hold the unlock button on the key while it's in the ignition with the car running sometimes the dash and controls turn on. Yesterday, I had the car running, shut the door and it locked the keys in the vehicle. I had to use a wire and wedge to break into my car. My battery is brand new, connections are clean. The batteries are brand new in my keys, and their function is also intermittent. Any idea if this is a problem with voltage relay, EIS, SAM?
