17 GLE 43 AMG coolant smell and temp runs high
Hi all, new member here. I bought a 2017 GLE43 AMG about 6 months ago and continue to have a coolant smell and temp runs almost 3 quarter on the gauge. I took it to the dealer to get the oil changed and was advised it was normal and that the coolant level was good. Have any of you experienced this? Also what should the normal temp be? Thanks in advance!

Up to 100C is normal, not necessarily half way on the gauge on MB cars.
They all smell like coolant when new, I don't know why but they do. I think it has to do with the venting of the intercooler circuit reservoir because it's always on the turbo cars, but they can be 100% leak free and still have an occasional coolant odor under the hood.
