GL450
Hello fellow MB fans!
Hi everyone,
My wife and I live in Vancouver WA. and bought our first Mercedes 2 years ago, a beautiful 2007 GL450 in Alabaster white. We've been thrilled with it from the first day we got it, both with the driving experience and the deal. We got it with only 54k miles on it and in nearly new condition.
That being said, it now has almost 70k miles on it and we've run into our first mechanical problem, a failing power steering pump. I've worked on cars on and off for 35 years so I think I'll give this one a go. The question is though is where do I find the chassis number. I've watched a couple of videos and I've yet been able to find it. I've checked the labels on the B-pillar inside the drives door where the tire labels are and under the hood, but nothing that indicates a chassis number.
Any suggestions?
I appreciate any advice you can provide.
