2017 AMG GLE43
Greetings from the Outer Banks, NC

Hello, We are 1.5 years into the ownership of our GLE43. We like it. At 9600 miles the rear Pirrellis are bald! We don’t drive it hard and this is atrocious! Newbie on this site and still fumbling around trying to figure out forum to inquire on this issue. Advise always appreciated!

Tires wearing out at 9600 miles doesn't sound right. You are still in warranty....I'd go to the dealer and have it diagnosed. Perhaps alignment issue or bad set of tires. Are you monitoring tire pressure on a regular basis? Look inside the gas filler door and see if you are at least close to recommended pressures. Just for the record, I have had good experience with Michelin tires on my Benzes. My second choice would be Continentals. I do have Pirellis on my G Wagon and have 23000 miles on them but will need replacement shortly. Good luck with a solution.
