Hi All,
I was a member several years ago but I forgot my User ID and password so I'm coming back as a zero post count newbie. I recently bought a 2009 SL550 that will share space with a '03 Jag XK8 and of course have questions that aren't addressed in an owner manual that forum members will certainly have answers to Past Mercedes cars have been a 230SL and a 450SLC.
Back when I was more 'in a hurry' than these days I had three Cobra's (one was an original), lots of Corvettes (my Dad bought one of the 300 original Corvettes [new] in '53 and many other really fun performance sports and drag race cars. Always broke, I maintained an ear to ear smile playing with all those wonderful cars I couldn't afford. Last year, after years of searching, I found Dad's '53 Corvette (#133) in Long Island! It is receiving a ground up restoration. I look forward to learning more about the '09 SL550 I just picked up as well as sharing what I've learned from the assortment of past cars that have spent time in my garage.
