Hello from Cincinnati!
I've been lurking heavily on this site recently as I've been contemplating my next car for the past couple months and boiled it down to a C63 sedan, M3/M4, or Audi S6....all will be 2015 - 2017 models to stay within my budget. I'm taking the BMW off the list because of the harsh ride, and looks have become less appealing to me even though I really wanted to get back in a manual (why does Mercedes refuse to build a stick for their performance cars!?). I've heard the S6's turbos are not the best and are prone to failure - I'd also rather stick to RWD instead of AWD, so the S6 is gone. That leaves the C63.
I test drove an '18 model recently to get an idea of it and the car is fantastic. The past few years I've really become a fan of Mercedes for their interiors and exteriors so it's finally time to pull the trigger.
The only pressing question I have now is : Does anyone think there is a reliability difference between the S and non S? As in, is the engine more strained on the S so it'd be logical that a detuned version (non s) will be more reliable for years to come? Overall I don't see many threads on here about reliability being an issue in these cars so hey, that's a start!
Looking forward to finally landing an AMG and gaining some knowledge from this forum!

Alright, I took delivery of it last week and right away saw that it needed some paint correction. Just got it back the other day and the Lunar Blue really comes through now - such a great color.
So far it's been a blast to drive and I do have a couple rattle spots on the rear deck lid and one by the passenger side....maybe Mercedes can fix through warranty? I did see a lot of threads regarding that on here before purchasing so I had that in the back of my mind, but still a bit surprised to see it on a car like this.
Here's a picas of now and I honestly don't have much planned for it. Was thinking of lowering it maybe an inch tops and add some wheel spacers but I'm fine how it sits as is - will just enjoy it for now.
