I own a 2005 C230K(w203), It's my first car, I bought it myself and I got in love the first time I saw it, sadly It came with some issues, I made the mistake of not doing an inspection before doing the purchase, but instead of just letting it rot and cry from my mistake, I'm learning to fix it(that's the main reason for me joining this forum). wish me luck guys, and I will be bothering the w203 forum a lot

Need honest advice on NEW 2020 GLE 350. Heard terrible reviews
I have been researching vehicles for a while now, trying to decide what I wanted. I'm a mom of 2 toddlers and this will be our primary family vehicle. I 1st was sold on the 2019 Q7 and then test drove it and didn't quite like it. and it has ash trays in the second row doors instead of cupholders omg!! why?? horrible.
I went to drive the new 2020 GLE 350 and fell in love with the interior and the infotainment. I scoured the internet on reviews, watched a million youtube videos. and then I found this youtube video on this particular car review that was absolutely horrible. review by Silver Cymbaluser on youtube if anyone is interested in watching. I also read reviews on Edmunds.com and Cars.com. I completely understand is social media and can be biased . but i have a major concern never owned Mercedes Benz brand before.
My question is for owners of the 2020 GLE 350 Model 4 matic. in your honest experience driving this vehicle for a while. is it truly reliable?? are you happy with your purchase? or do you wish you never purchase it?
I'm having so much anxiety. and i'm second guessing my decision. I was supposed to pick up with SUV tomorrow Thursday 2/11/2020. and Now, i told my husband to wait.
Welcome! There is a section on this site dedicated to the new GLE, which is the V167 platform. I suggest you read it. In full disclosure, Mercedes is apparently having teething pains with the launch of this vehicle.

So, i‘m a doctor Ophthalmologist practicing and living in Tunisia since 2014, previously i was living in Saint-Petrsburg , Russia. I have two sons and my wife is Russian.
In 2014 i had a chance to buy Mercedes W212 T model 2010 from Belgium, 90k km that time. By the moment 280k km, it is in ideal condition, because i did all the changes and repairs in time and with genuine MB parts (for example on April 2019 I’ve replaced the Engine chain and all the parts that I’ve personally considered to replace in advance...)

Did you get the GLE? Maybe look at the ALL NEW GLB SUV?
My wife and I just picked up the ALL NEW GLB250 4Matic. Surprising roomy inside. Available 7 seating option (we did not get the 7 seating option bc our kids are now in college/high school). The GLB has ALL NEW LATEST TECH FROM MERCEDES BENZ. We loved the 10.x inch BIG LCD Display screen across the front dash!!!
SURE the GLE is bigger and luxurious (more costly), but also prone to a lot more problems historically. I know I'm rolling the dice on the all new GLB. We have the ULTRA reliable go anywhere in any weather 8 seater Lexus LX570 SUV (but boring). So the the GLB is for around town errands and grocery runs.
So far we like the GLB. But one thing we noticed right away was it's very noisy compared to our Lexus LX570 and our Lexus RX450h (hybrid). At the price point of the GLB, it is what it is bc the LX570 costs more than twice the GLB while the RX450h cost more too. Apples to oranges comparison.
