1st Time Mercedes Owner

First Mercedes-Benz!
Hello all,
I was fortunate enough to find the perfect car for me this weekend!
I have looked at several different vehicles over the past few weeks - 2012 E550, 2013 E550, 2014 E550, 2013 S550, 2012 CLS550 and finally my 2014 CLS550.
I think the 218 is such an awesome platform to own! Here's one of the few pictures I've snapped since bringing her home.
I am selling my 2018 Dodge Challenger T/A 392 in the background while the market is so high for muscle cars. It's still amazing to me how ahead of their time Mercedes was with their interior and designs even back in 2014!

Hello all. I'm in the US and somewhat recently purchased a new toy. It's a 2006 SLK55 AMG with around 50K miles. It runs great, if not a little rough on the roads, which hopefully should be fixed once I put new tires on it.

Good morning. Picking up a CPO 2018 S213 this week. First time MB owner, crossing over from the BMW side. Well, not crossing. BMW535d staying in the fleet. Looking forward to experiencing MB and once again having a long roof car.

Checking in from the DMV...
EDIT: Re-posted this as a new thread in the area I MEANT to post this ("New member check-in") vs. just a reply in the wrong thread...esp. since I'm not a first time MB owner...
Hey MBWorld! I'm back...and blessed to be the happy owner of a gem -- a pre-owned (practically new!) 2015 E63 S w/ only...(wait for it)...6300+ miles! Was in the market and searching the country for a decent '15/'16 E63 that I could call my own, and only by the grace of God, I found one here locally in pristine shape. So excited to be back in a W212...wife had a '12 E350 that she loved...we both agree that the platform is arguably one of Mercedes' best. Glad to be back on the forum w/ this powerhouse...it was a hard decision to finally transition from my 2013 300 SRT8 that I bought brand new and kept stock (NA) for over eight years--after two engine rebuilds due to the notorious "Hemi tick", thought it was in my best interest to let it go w/ over 168,000 miles on the ticker before things started failing--still running good when I signed over the title though! Little nick-nack stuff like trunk release, windshield washer, humidity control, and blue-tooth stopped working...guess it was time...gonna really miss my UConnect and being able to pause/rewind live music and heated/chilled cup holders! Very rare feature in a vehicle--only knew of Escalade and ML AMG that had those. Really enjoyed that car to the fullest...but now it's time to make new waves w/ my new "brute in a suit", esp. before all V8+ muscle cars fade to black here real soon... Looking to pick everyone's brains and take in all the expert advice...not going to do much to her right now since she's already pushing 600hp+ (that's actual power vs. Mercedes' very modest claims), gotta get to know her a little better...but think I'm considering a UPD or Weistech high flow CAI upgrade to improve my throttle response @ least... Wife's gas pedal (in her Audi S6) feels much more responsive than mine, soooooo...we'll see where that goes...any suggestions? Anyway, hello!

help
Hi All,
Wondering if it was possible to get a tire and wheel protection months after buying a car. I got a CPO but the dealership didn't offer unlimited for the tire and wheel protection so I did not purchase it.
Are there any third party companies that provide unlimited that anyone can recommend?
Thanks!

Hey, Im Vince from Toronto, ON, and I just finished up my first major M-B project thats been relegated to DD duty now, a 2006 E350 4Matic Estate thats been fully swapped/converted to a 2005 E320 CDI RWD driveline. will be posting up about the process as information was.... difficult to come by on the wiring front unfortunately but hopefully i can help some people who may want to go down this rabbit hole as well.
Still have some adjusting to do on the coilovers.
mufflers deleted while i try and find an E55 rear bumper to fix the rear end up a bit

Sounds
So, I have the AMG night package on my 21 GLE 350. At speeds 35mph and below I hear a sound that sounds like as if the sunroof is open with all the windows closed (rapid thudlike sounds). Anyone else ever hear something like that? Also, like a ticking when also 35mph and below when accelerate the remove foot from pedal. It may just be the engine…but has anyone else heard these with similar package?
