Newbie from Barrybados
Hi everyone.
Like a few on here I am new to Mercedes ownership.
I always thought these cars were way out of my price range until someone I knew was selling their c220 cdi.
Its a 2004 auto saloon with the sports pack.
It had a short MOT and a starting issue.
The starting issue was an ECU fault and basically I obtained a replacement with the necessary other components and job done. Except the SRS light then came on and it needed re programming. This done and the car runs lovely. MOT tomorrow now.
Lovely car to own. I have always had Rover and Fords until now.
The car started its life being owned by boss of Mecedes in Cardiff for a year. It was then purchased by the owner I brought it from. I have always admired it for the past 10 years ! Now its mine. I always used to modify my cars as I was never happy with them. I would fit new seats remap etc..This car however needs nothing..
I hope to own it for the foreseeable long term future
