Should I wait for the 2020 GLE
I love the new upgrades of the 2020 GLE 350 but the sticker price is a bit too high . I really need an SUV so I was thinking about purchasing a used 4Runner or another SUV that has high resale value and possibly in 2 years when there are used gle’s and it’s deprecated it will be marked down better ? Any thoughts?

Sounds like the 2020 GLE price is more than you want to spend? Is that right?
Depreciation on luxury vehicles is heavy. For that reason, I hold vehicles as long as possible, normally longer than 10 years, and as long as 15+ years. This requires DIY maintenance or diligent maintenance with a dealer or repair shop.
The 4Runner is one of the most solid and reliable vehicles on the road, and does OK from a resale point of view. But a far cry from a Mercedes in terms of brand image, quality of materials and features.
Figure the 2020 GLE will drop 20% by 2022. Will that price fit your target budget?
