W163 ML 270 CDI NEW MEMBER
Hello everyone. World glad to join the forum. I will give a brief rundown on the project.
Got a 2002 ML270 cdi w163 and I intend to greenlane (off road/mudding) with it. At the moment am working on sorting the engine and a remap. I will be cleaning and deleting the Swirl Flaps with the resistor egr delete mod. I have purchased the w210 e320 cdi turbo (GT23V) a d refurbishing the injectors. I purchased a used e320cdi om648 diesel high pressure pump (BOSCH 0445010078). The idea behind another HPP (HIGH PRESSURE PUMP) is tonhave more flow world that I can have a good remap without fuel starvation. I found a few info regarding swapping the Bosch CP3 HPP for the Bosch CP1 HPP, I refer members to Blacksmoke racing etc. So now I know the e320cdi om648 diesel high pressure pump (BOSCH 0445010078) might note fit so what HPP do I need to get? A CP3 Pump that will fit the om612 engine.
The other mods plannned is 35" offroading tyres, 2 or 3 inch body lift and straight through exhaust
Thanks your in advance for any extra info
Cheers
