Thanks. I have owned the car for 2 years. My intention is that she will remain with me as a keeper. The R172 SLK55AMG is quite a rare car and only around 3,600 were produced worldwide in its 5 year production run with just over 500 here in the UK. The M152 5.5 litre V8 is unique to the R172 SLK55's in that it is not fitted to any other car. It is normally aspirated and has cylinder deactivation (turns off 4 if they are not needed). This can be overridden with a touch of a button and at full chat produces 420bhp.
