Hi guys and girls. Not new to forums, but 1st merc... it's a cl600 pre facelift. It has a few issues, so I will browse away in here and see what I can find out..

Thanks guys. It's a 2000 model. Black inside. Its a bit rough so needs a tidy up all over. Even in the pic it looks to have a new fender that is a different shade.
Everything works, apart from a few basics that are well covered on forums- no number plate lights, intermittent mirror indicator, torn rear seal leather, stuffed stereo screen, other bits and bobs...
So looking to fix those issues, change a heap of fluids and filters, new front rotors and pads, and see how it goes.
I notice that it has a oil drip towards rear of engine bay, so thinking it probably needs heads pulling to do the oil cooler. Im pretty mechanical so don't see it as that big a challenge, just time consuming and a bit pricey. Figure if I do the work myself, I can afford more of the service items.
Leaving it stock, not much point modifying a non turbo one of these, just leave it as a highway star!.
Thinking pretty hard about a star C, in case of future upgrades and for diagnosis on this car.
I will put together a wtb ad, for some bits that I think you will have laying about. This car seems to be quite rare here, so used bits are pretty much non existent.
