G'day one and all.
Joined yesterday. Am a 73 yo Aussie Vietnam Vet of nearly a hundred years ago.
Bought my w164 ml350 2006 ( air suspension) two years ago with 77,000 KILOMETRES on the clock and have been towing a 22 ft caravan round Oz for the last 23 months. Did 2 trades 1st as motor body builder (tourist coaches) & 2nd motor mechanic. Was a MB Service Manager until i succumbed to war neurosis in 1979.
Lived on my smallish yacht from 2009 'til 2017 sailing Oz east coast but failed to get to Tasmania ( where there are least Drop Bears ).
Thanks for having me aboard.
Brian. PS Currently in hospital having a new hip bolted on so cant supply a shot of the car. Total of 5.2 tons and still goes like s.. t off a shovel.

Thanks for that PIPPO. With a new hip of 21 days I'm now jogging like a 30 y/o !
Cant believe it.
Today the VA are transferring me to what is claimed to be the best HEAD (ptsd) factory in Oz.
FWIW, most Aussie Vets would tell you that we have the most generous VA on the planet.
Re travel: Im torn between staying with the home (?) I have and getting a yacht capable of rounding Cape Horne. ( previously cruised Oz coast for 8 years)
Thanks again for the welcome Pippo.
What are you up to Bro?
