Hi. My username is dcman but they call me Bruce. I was here on the forum to ask a question about finding a engine wiring harness for my '95 E320 sedan. I just joined, but I'm not new to M-B ownership.
My very first car was a W111(220Sb) sedan which I paid $150.00 for in 1978. It was a rust bucket and didn't travel the roads much when I owned it, but I learned to work on cars with that one. I also learned to drive a 4-speed manual because it had the "4 on the tree".
I've owned about 10 old Benzes total including 2 other 220Sb sedans(and 1 coupe), a '69 280SEL, a 75 450SEL, 87 420SEL, and a '85 190E which was totaled in a head-on collision with a Dodge Ram pickup. That wreck prompted me to get a bigger benz(the 87 420)
I currently have a 1994 black E320 sedan named Gisele, which I've owned for about 14 mos. and my newly acquired '95 E320 sedan in dk. blue which I have named Genia. I named her Genia after the term for a female Genie; I wish for her to start and she does. Lets hope I get more than 3 wishes. lol
Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself since I'm new, and hopefully share some of the stories/adventures I've had with a few of my benzes over the years. I've posted a question in the W124 forum about trying to find an engine wiring harness for Genia. Hopefully, someone knows where I can get one.
Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season!

Welcome to the forum Bruce. Thanks for taking the time to do an intro! It’s great reading. Please post a photo of your collection when you get a chance.
Hi. Yes, I'm on Ebay frequently. I found a harness on there for $450 about a week ago, but someone bought it. The other used ones are almost $700 including shipping.

Here's a couple of pics of Gisele, my 1994 E320. I've had her since Nov. 2018. The 18" Feretti wheels were on the car when I bought it. They are going bye-bye. Too much pitting inside the wheels the M-B tex interior is in great shape for a 25 year old car
Thanks for the warm welcome and compliments on my E classes. I got the most pleasant surprise today. It turns out I won't need to buy an engine wiring harness for my '95. A kind seller on Ebay emailed me some pics and info to identify which part number I would need. I thought for sure I would need the later style 2933 harness: I don't, it's the 5632 I need and I already have one as a spare for my '94 E320.
I bought this harness on Ebay about a year ago and found the harness on my '94 had already been upgraded.
I feel like I just got an early present from Santa this year.
Have a great holiday season everyone!
