New Member Checking in
Just brought it home from long hibernation in Georgia. 20,800 miles. Came here on a truck transporter but it does seem to run fine.
Greg here. I just purchased a red 1996 SL500 that has apparently been sitting in a private collection for many years. It looks like new but I know better and am willing to take it on. The first task is to simply getting it operating safely with the hard top on and then replace the top hydraulics and go from there. I'm sure I will be leaning heavily on the forum and look forward to the challenge. First impression? - like a bank vault !!
