The alternator does produce three phase AC, but that is rectified to DC to charge the battery. AC is produced in the alternator. It is converted to when a car is running is the current ac or DC. So basically everything in your car is DC. Modern vehicles use an alternator, which is the term used to describe an AC, Current in cars is DC.

The alternator works with the battery to generate power for the electrical components of a car. An alternator gets its name from the term alternating current. It produces the AC which must be turned into DC to use in a car. A generator handles this internally and mechanically with a commutator and brushes. An alternator pulls off the same trick with externally with electronics. An electricity theme in fact is very difficult for understanding. I always suggest people to call the professional electrician if they have some issues. I can recommend also the platform where you can find the electrician in your area with good reviews. https://bates-electric.com/locations/louisville-ky/
