We finally had time to head out to the Dyno on our 12E63AMG with RaceIq stage 2 tune, Catless downpipes and Afe dry filters in stock air boxes. Had 4 runs total this was the 2nd run of before and after I have to say I'm very impressed with results specially on top end. On this 2 runs we seen up to a 50hp difference. We have been getting alot of good feed back datalogging those inputs will be posted soon.
M157 Blackboost filter installed
before and after Blackboost intakes. 12 E63AMG with raceIq tune, downpipes, Afe dry filters. after Blackboost intakes. And runs with Blackboost filters was done with hood closed to make sure extra air entrances were blocked.
This intake def works although I wasn’t able to dyno the intake diff alone because I did other things the top end I gained was very noticeable turbos are working less and making more power the duty cycle of the wastegate dropped from high 90s percent to 70 percent. Sounds good and it won’t break the bank!
Blackboost is the UAE tuning company most may not know of. They are overseas building some serious hardware for some of the fastest European cars. They continue to push the envelope, and the owner is just a super nice guy. This intake is insane, two of my fellow M157 gang rock them.
Thanks very much for your support! You are correct on the BlackBoost background. We are very proud to be the exclusive importer for all BlackBoost Performance Engineering parts. Each piece is handcrafted for each customer. Let me know JAYCL600 and gang if you need anything. #BlackBoostTeamUSA #blackboost_official

Pulled the trigger myself on the setup. Although, I found it really wasn't happy trying to fit the stock intake tubes to it at all.
Also found using the risers I needed when I ran the intake spacers are needed to have the ecu sit flush with the cover.

What intake tubes are you using?
If you have a link that would be awesome!!
Do you mean the scorpion style intakes the sl65 uses?
That is really cool. That is what I am talking about. I haven't seen that setup on the 65. I've just seen a few guys on FB run them on 278s and 157s on the tunedmercedes facebook group and CLS group.
