Hello everyone... just stumbled onto one of my bucket list cars... 2002 C230 Kompressor hatch.
Friend of mine owns a stereo shop and took car in on a trade for work... asked me if id be interested because he needed to turn it into cash...gave me a good deal... now she's mine.
I've always either had 'Merican or Japanese cars so this is my first step in to German engineering. I know nothing about this car... I assume I fit into the W203 club(?) I did a Little trolling and see this community seems really nice and non judgemental so I look forward to being part of it.

Welcome. Nice pictures and story. How many miles on it? You might want to check underneath where the duct tape is to make sure there's no additional damage. You're correct, the W203 section of the forum is the correct section for your particular model.

Right at 165k miles... and the damage is superficial... I inspected it this weekend. The duct tape is for keeping the bumper on as the tabs were shredded in the impact.

Glad there wasn't any structural damage. It's always wise to check for such damage in a case like this. I wish you many happy miles with it.
