New Member from CT here. I've been to Ingolstadt, I've been to München.... Now looking to see what is going on in Affalterbach!
I will be browsing the classifieds for a 2005 or 2006 E55, and try to learn as much as I can about these beasts on the meantime!
Well here we go! I'm officially the owner of an '06 E55. Found through this forum, shipped from 1,000 miles away, the experience was a bit intimidating but great seller made it a lot easier. I've never bought a vehicle sight unseen, I used a remote prepurchase inspection for additional peace of mind, and overall very pleased with the transaction .
First impression coming from a slightly tuned E90 335 6spd is one of solidity, understated performance and confidence, and oh so much torque! Obviously in the honeymoon period but loving it!
I'll add more pics and posts as I take over care of this black beauty.
