I own a GLC 300d 2021 , 5000 miles. Car was recalled for issue with heating problem ( which I don’t believe) car was booked in on the 3/2/2022.The day before I was driving home 7.30 pm on M25 pouring down with rain. Pulled off the motorway to collect daughter which took no more than 5 mins as I pulled away car made a jolt then completely shut down .. Had no steering , brakes, power, gears .. every warning light flashing .. Car rolled down the road crossed onto the other side of the rd ( lucky nothing was coming) car stopped by the side of the road . Alarm was going off mood lights changing colours . RAC arrived to check car and it stowed 47 faults and 21 unknown faults. The car would not start and I could not lock .. car was taken on back of truck to Mercedes garage , they have had car for 11 days and still not fixed . There have now agreed that if this had happed 5 mins earlier on motorway we would’ve been looking at fatalities!! I have refused to drive this car again as my daughter is terrified of getting back in it again .. And Mercedes can’t guarantee it would never happen again .. so angry with them !
2014 E350 also restored: 1969 Camaro convertible SS 1957 Chevy Belair 2dr hardtop
Welcome sorry to hear about your problem. Did they actually tell you what they think the problem is? Get ahold of Mercedes benz USA and complain to them. If that does not work contact a lawyer.

This sounds like a serious issue. Make sure you get diagnosis from an authorized MB garage/dealer and not just a regular shop.
The MB garage/dealer must first know what caused the problem before they can promise anything. So, at this stage, they not guaranteeing anything is reasonable and acceptable.
As it is not yet fixed, either the dealer is still trying to figure out the cause or they have already figured out but are waiting for parts.
Anyway, after 11 days, the MB dealer/garage should know something, if not all. What did they say?
47+21 faults cannot happen simultaneously. So, it has to be something 'central' and crucial enough to trigger so many faults. As it was pouring, one hint might be some kind of water leaks that caused some kind of short circuit, leading to blowing out some electronics/computer chips?
If local MB garage/dealer does not make progress (especially a 2021 is still under warranty), file a complain with MB UK headquarter.
