I'm curious to hear more about the melted F430. Great taste in both vehicles!
So I was on the hunt for an F430 and seemed to have found a nice example at FOS. Triple black, no accidents, black factory wheels, dealer service records, no paint work, and lots of clutch left. So I sent them a deposit and was waiting for the shop to "complete a few minor items" before shipping. I'm in Texas but I had a buddy in Scottsdale pop in to look at it and I attached the photos he sent. When I emailed the sales person and penned my WTF, he skirted the issue and just said we'll take care of it. I then emailed their Finance manager and asked for my deposit back and said if there was a "salvage your reputation offer" I may be interested, meaning lower the price due to damage and after service warranty the worked performed.
Silence from the dealer for two days and by that time had already acquired the GTS, by the way couldn't be happier. Lucky to have dodged a hot bullet. Cooked dash and HVAC unit from the harness meltdown. Interior bits removed F430 on the lift sans interior

That part about enthusiasm comes from the high level of entertainment your car provides. Those GTS Mercs are amazing. The fun factor never ends.
