Purchased myself a W203 about a month ago; 2001 C220 CDI Elegance with only 119kKM on the clock when I got it (now 122kKM). Ex-german, only one owner; it is in an amazing condition.
No hits on the outside, only front right bumper chrome trim very slightly sticking out and few micro hit points (not scratches). On the inside, no scratches anywhere, no stains either; it was very looked out for.
Only bit of rust is bottom driver's door; surface, will soon get it fixed.
All consumables were changed by the dealer. Temp fluctuated lots and engine would often run at 50-60C; so changed the thermostat and now a stable 80-90C.
MAF might be dead, often 170g/s, revs limited @ 3kRPM and power lost sometimes; cleaned it today, if that does not fix it short-term I'll swap it out (side question: is it normal for the airbox and the outlet from the airbox to the turbo being very very slightly oiled-looking? air filter does not look oiled.)
Needs a new AC condenser and potentially one or two AC flap motors; and dashboard LCD looks to suffer from heat (minitools replacement incoming); apart from those small quirks, it runs like a charm.
