Afternoon All, new the MB World Forum, not new to the Mercedes brand but definitely have much to learn.
As my profile says, I'm a recovering Corvette Enthusiast, been in that scene on and off for the past 20 years or so and owned several.
Over the past few years the practicality of Corvette ownership has proven difficult for me and I found myself driving them less and less. This past year my C6 convertible has seen less than 1K miles.. not because I don't want to drive it, just because we're always going somewhere that it's not the car to drive.
Couple years ago I picked up a GLK350 for my daughter as a collage car, replaced her Camaro Convertible as an "adult car". She loves it. Decided to buy one for my wife as a errand runner.. found a super nice AMG packaged one- I really liked it but wife decided she wanted a new Denali.
Recently picked up an E350 Cabriolet to fill in the Convertible duties the C6 can't, enjoying that car as I learn more about the brand.
I have been interested in the E63's for several years and suspect I will spend most of my forum time researching those cars and pestering those with knowledge of them.
My contribution to the group would / could be in Tire Related answers as my background is in that industry.
Looking forward to hanging out and learning.
Thanks
JR
