New-to-me 2020 C-300 Sedan
Longtime VW owner including a 2015 GTI I loved, but it died a nasty crank bearing death about a year ago. Been traveling Europe mostly since then and went without a car, but needed a replacement as the weather will soon turn in the Pacific Northwest. Bought a low-mileage 2020 C-300 Sedan with 12K miles. A bit more comfortable, smooth, and WAY quieter. Similar oomph from a same displacement 2.0 inline 4 turbo, but the mild hybrid ponies piling on is a kick!
I also broke my 40 year old personal rule of never owning an automatic unless it had 350+ cubic inches of motor attached to the transmission. But I made that promise in the days of 3 speed slot-o-matics, sloppy torque converters, and nary a microprocessor. I think things have changed sufficiently to not feel like I have to row my own gears.
Looking forward to learning the details about the brand & model, the idiosyncrasies of modern Benzes, and probably some stuff I didn't know before.
