2009 S550
Finally Registered
I have been reading the forums for a long time. I finally decided I should register and try to contribute.
We became owners of a '09 S550 about 3 years ago. Our elderly neighbor no longer drove and was about to sell the car to a well known car dealership for almost nothing. It was superbly maintained and in excellent condition. We asked if we could discuss a possible purchase before tbey took it and successfully agreed on a selling price that we were all happy with. It has become our travel car and we absolutely love taking it on trips.
I have worked on my own cars for about 50 years but was hesitant to even change the oil on the S550 at first. Slowly I've become more confident making repairs. Thanks to all for the wealth of information that has been shared on this site. I have learned so much and look forward to sharing my experiences with members going forward.
