Hey everyone! Excited to be here. Coming from a 2018 R8 RWS that I had bought brand new back in 2019 and put about 47.5k miles on.
Had tons of fun with the 5.2 V10 as a single guy in my late 20's and early 30's but feel that it's time to get back into the super sedan world. (Had an F10 M5 prior to the R8).
I found a great deal on a 2018 E63S AMG near me and ironed out a deal this week. It's got a full Matte wrap and a PPF over that which is a nice perk.
Going to trade the R8 on Saturday and pick up the AMG.
Mods planned so far are an AWE catback exhaust, lowering module, spacers, and possibly an ECU tune (although I've been spoiled with an NA motor and no issues on the R8 so I'll probably add it in the spring).
Excited to learn more about the platform and meet some members.
I'm in Northern VA for reference in case anyone in the area would like to meet up and cruise sometime.
Congrats on driving the hell out of that R8 and picking up one hell of a beast as a sequel. These cars look amazing in magno black. Be sure to stop by the W213 forum when you get the modding bug, we've been there and done that at this point and can get you moving in the right direction. Even maintenance items like the brakes we have good solutions for that won't require getting scalped by your local stealership.
