2016 C450 AMG (Canadian car in the US)
Hi, I’m a new member checking in. I have a household with mostly BMW’s - 2004 E46 330xi, 2012 E92 328i, 2001 E46 M3, and 2007 E60 M5, and all with manual transmissions. We also have an 2009 L322 Range Rover SC and a 2010 Mazda SP25. The reason I’m here now is that we have a new-to-us 2016 W205 C450 (before they decided to rename it to C43).
This is a Canadian car living in the US, which poses a bit of a challenge. It seems to be impossible for us to do simple things like reset service warnings or change from Celsius to Fahrenheit. Even the local dealer seems unwilling or unable to do these. We work on our cars and in fact my son is a BMW mechanic. We also have easy access to BMW coding and diagnostics. We are starting from scratch on this Mercedes and I feel like a noob again so I’ll be looking for a bit of guidance.
