Newbie with a 2014 SL550
Stumbled on a 2014 SL550 at CarMax while looking for a pickup so I bought it because well it is way more fun!
Dayum this is a fast ride. Having a blast.
Dealer, MB of Cary, tells me the factory NAV can't be updated as the car is too old. Is that true? How about getting Mercedes Me to work?
Still a great ride and way better than the pickups I was considering
Sidebar: if anyone else is also into RVs you may see me - I'll be the crazy guy walking 4 dogs with an SL parked next to a giant RV.

Hi @KenZ71 and welcome to MBWorld. Please post a photo of your SL when you get a moment. Wouldn’t have thought your nav is too old for an update. Maybe try another dealer? All the best with it 👍
