2015 CLS63 S AMG
Aloha!

Hey everyone! You all can call me Shades. I recently bought a used 2015 CLS63 S AMG. Just wanted to introduce myself and hoping that I can get some info about some of the problems I am already having with it😂.

Looking forward to learning from fellow MB owners.

Parktronic

Question:

The guy that originally owned this car had it tuned Renntech Stage 2, does that whatsoever affect the Parktronic Assist? To be more precise, I don’t know exactly whether this car even has it. All I know is that when I turn the car on, switch gear to D or R, and turn on the Parking sensors, it just beeps and automatically turns itself off. It happens each time I try to turn it on. I see the light sensors installed on the dash and the back side, but all it does it beeps in red, then turns itself off automatically.

Any advice?

I’ve cleaned the sensors. Only thing I haven’t done is take them off manually.

It sounds like one of your sensors is malfunctioning (bad). When that is the case the entire system shuts down. You will need a scanner / STAR system to find out which one is bad. I don't think the sensors are too expensive. Good luck! The car is awesome!

Thanks! I’m such a noob, didn’t even think about that. I figured the car has sensors and the blind spot assist primarily uses the one on the rear corners. All the front sensors and the two on the rear bumper are not working. Will update once I get it checked. Mahalo!

Found out what’s tripping

Now I’m just wondering if the sensors that stays on the 200.79 are the faulty ones or the ones that receives signals. Either way, I guess I have to buy the harnesses for both front and rear, or maybe also new sensors.
