I have a 2004 Mercedes E500 4Matic. I am from Calgary AB. This is my first benz and I must thank this forum for the great info I’ve gotten based on some of the issues I’ve had. This week I am doing the J pipes along with the X pipes and resonator and muffler delete which I will post photos and videos. I will be ordering the Needswing intake system as well next week. I am looking to do the KW coilover setup this spring as I have already had an air strut fail but I replaced it. This is a family vehicle but I still wanna roll in style! I’m close to ordering some new wheels as well to have my E500 ready for summer! I am gonna custom build the headlights myself as that is what I’ve done for the last 10 years.. now Just as a hobby but definitely gonna do something unique! I hope to be able to contribute and give good advice based on my experience with this vehicle. I do have the SRS light which I think it’s from the trunk/antenna issue corroding. I bought this from an elderly man but I have had to put some money into it but always serviced at Mercedes! I’m In my winter setup here running 18” niche wheels on Hakkapalita R3’s! Glad to be here!
Thanks! This summer once I have the wheels on and coilovers and my headlight retrofit and a few more things it will look completely different. I’ve thought about doing the AMG bumpers but I think I’ll make it look more original!
