Hi all, just picked up a 2018 GLS63 as a family hauler and we LOVE IT! The Porcelain / black interior sold us and has the Night package with dynamica black headliner. Absolutely beautiful inside.
First post on here and had to come to get some recommendations on maintenance and just about everything else to do with this beast since I have never owned an AMG before.
The vehicle has 41k miles with no warranty and currently looking for a reputable extended warranty package that covers this engine & high labor rates ( Chicago ).
If anyone is from Illinois and has some good AMG mechanic shop recommendations, that would help immensely. I’d prefer not to bring to dealer for maintenance and save where I can.
I’m so excited and grateful to be able to own such a beautifully built performance SUV, now I just need to know what to look for and understand with AMG maintenance.
