Long time reader here and I figured it's about time I joined. After 14 years with a classic turbo Bentley I went looking for an S63. I couldn't find a nice enough W221 so I went a newer W222. Been absolutely astounded by it so far so maybe the newer gen was a good move. I'll never forget the sound of the M156 approaching redline though!

Nope - it came from a friend who has taken incredible care of it since new. Before I purchased it (Oct 2022), it had the US Diesel settlement changes applied, which replaced a huge list of items in the exhaust system and anything related to emissions. I was going to pass on the vehicle until I heard that this work was going to be done at no cost.
It's a gem and most people think it's new. It's that nice...
