2010 E350 Coupe w/AMG Package

Hi everyone. I bought this car about a year ago, to the date, and haven't had to do too much to it depending on what you define as "too much". I've put on new brake pads & rotors, spend a few days during my Christmas break doing thrust/control arms & sway bar links, 4-5 oil changes (I started using 5w40 Liqui-Moly two oil changes ago), replaced the blower motor resistor, thermostat & housing along with a basic flush with the Blue stuff, and putting Continental DWS O6's on it this week. This is the nicest thing I've owned and I'm 52 years old. I'm not sure I'll buy anything else after this because all the little things MB has thought of, taken care of, and damn this thing is solid! A buddy joked about if I drove it fast and I said "It's not made to be fast. It's made to look good and be comfortable...like my future ex-girlfriend." I think that's fair isn't it?
I'm a former mechanic as of 2000-ish when cars started not to be fun to work on but I've found this car to be quite easy to work with. Sure, there's some different tools one needs to use but that's really about it up to this point. I have a fairly basic scanner which does what it is supposed to do and I enjoy working on it as well as learning about how this ol' girl works. She handles PHENOMENALLY around corners, turns, and everything that doesn't involve acceleration! Smooth as silk, one hand, and I'm surprised when I look at the speedometer...then put both hands on the wheel because, well, that's what we're used to, right?
I've found these forums to be a LOT of help so I thought I'd pony up and join in. Maybe even contribute a little bit when I can. I wanted to thank everyone for their contributions and unsolicited help. Not everyone says thanks but I'm here to say thanks for them. We all appreciate it more than you know. Now....I need to look for some decent ignition parts 😁 Oh and upgrading the struts and back end suspension sometime soon as well!
Thank you, All!
