2006 Jeep LJ. 2014 AMG SL63

New AMG SL63 owner checking in

Hello MB World! Checking in as a new AMG owner. I have been on the site for years learning about our cars and getting knowledgeable to buy one. A month ago I purchased, with all your knowledgeable help, a 2014 AMG SL63!
My new SL63 has 23,000 miles and has been serviced by a Mercedes Dealer every 1800 miles and is absolutely crazy clean! It looks brand new! It was fully optioned out with the original window sticker at $171,255! Crazy!!! Or so I thought until it was delivered, and then it hit me what this car actually was!
Now to rewind a little I was actually in the market for a 07 or 08 AMG SL65 or AMG SL55 with the P30 option. I had found a 07 SL65 with 19,000 miles that had been on the market for 6 months and the day I went to make an offer it was sold lol The same played out with both an 07 and 08 SL55 with the P30 option and I was getting pretty upset and started looking at Ferrari F430’s but then out of the blue this 2014 SL63 popped up! I never looked at them because I didn’t care for the body style but didn’t hate them either…
I decided on a whim to just go for it! And I can’t tell you how ecstatic I am with that decision!!! This car has to be seen in person as photos don’t do it justice! The first time walking up on it I was blown away at how incredible the styling was! And now after a months ownership I really thought that before purchase it would fly under the radar! That’s not been the case as every time I take it out I get comments, people staining at it and even people taking pics lol It’s such a fun car and seriously fast!
