Glad to be here
I decided to join rather than stalking.
I own the following modern classics:
1991 230CE: this car has been literally daily driven by me or another member of the family for more than 12 years. It has been used and abused. I have driven it through a concrete wall with only broken bumper, grille plastic and headlight lenses. I have used it offroad and camping. I rebuilt 3 years ago. Never had any problems major problems with it except blown aftermarket radiator and the very minor common problems ( fuel pump relay, odometer gears, ovp relay...). Currently running around with more than 650,000 kilometers.
1990 560 SEC german spec with all the bells and whistles and reiserechner option: low mileage. very well preserved and cared for weekend car. Had few minor issues (removed rear window to fix rust and installed new seal, odometer gears currently broken and some issues with fuel pump relay)
1993 300CE24 5 speed: My baby! Very well preserved and barely driven. It has lots of options and the soft top is working meticulously. Needs a couple of broken plastic parts. Currently slowly rebuilding it to 0km all around. Very expensive project but well worth it (for me at least).
Had a 2004 clk320 that i absolutely loved with 0 issues mechanically. I adored the m112 engine and never had any issues with it (got to 350,000 km).
I will be buying soon a W123 280CE and 250T.
Looking forward to participate.
