MB 1996 G 320

Hi, just checkin' in!
Recently bought my first MB, a 1996 G320. The VIN tag in the door frame has a AMG logo, so I'm not sure how excited I should get over that. Showed up in a little rougher shape than I was expecting but it rides and drives nice so should be able to sort the rest out. Had a broken track on the sun roof and some water marks on the headliner as a result. That is getting fixed as we speak and the headliner is getting redone in black Alcantra (sp?) Leather while its out. There is quite a bit of damaged clear coat to be fixed and the wheels need (want) refinishing. Interior is in good shape and no rust or corrosion that I've found. That's my story, I've posted in the G wagon section with questions about trannies and keys. Check it out if you think you might have some insight. Thanks and glad to be here.
