Very special car.
After a careful studying of what car to buy I purchase a car and own the same vehicle for over 10 years.
During the years of ownership, little by little I make a hard working transition from German machine to timeless, reliable Swiss watch and my rule is very simple –Replace original parts with new ones ahead of time.
This 2011 Mercedes E550 Coupe, came with very reliable natural inspired engine and it is the same engine been used on G Wagon Mercedes for years.
Car came with several packages, including premium and AMG. Here is what I do and what is done already:
Engine:
Fully synthetic Mobil one or Liqui Molly every 7000 miles. Liqui molly engine flush used. Ceramic antifriction Liqui Molly added at oil changes.
Engine seal, Timing belt, belts, water pump replaced at 80000 miles.
All belts replaced a 100.000 miles.
Engine and transmission supports replaced at 75 000 miles.
Mass flow sensor replaced at 90000 miles.
Front 2 Oxigen sensors replaced at 110.000 miles.
New rotors and pads at 100.000 miles.
Air filters MANN replaced every 8000 miles along with cabin filter.
The interior TOP housing was white but I ordered new Black AMG from Mercedes dealer and installed 2 years ago. Costly but …looksmuch better than white.
Any driver seat will show a signs of wear after 50 000 miles and cannot be compared with passenger seat condition that’s why I always replace a driver seat cushion with original one for matching a new look for the rest of the interior. While changing anything in the car I always lubricate all the parts and give them maintenance using only LIQUI MOLLY products. All electrical connectors always lubricated as well using Liqui Molly Electrical spray.
Mercedes contour seats vacuum hoses will dry over the time. It is a hard job but I replaced all of them with brand new ones (Driver and passenger sides).
Every 40 000 miles fuel filters were replaced and every 5000 Miles liquid molly Pro Line fuel cleaner used.
Following tradition I replace all engine coils at 100000 miles along with radiator and radiator main hose.
ECU – Only KLEEMANN Company. They work only with Mercedes and warranty is always there. Best desicion ever made and Cory is the man !
ECU is tuned for Autobahn without any limits made for US roads.
Tranny –oil change at 50000 miles and 105 000 miles with liquid molly ATF additive.
Fuel pumps replaced at 90000 miles.
Suspension- Left and Right upper and lower arms, brand new fronts and rear Shocks, Rotors and pads replaced at 100000 miles.
1 Inch lowered with H&R springs gives best stability for heavy rear end car.
Looks great and feels great on new and original shocks.
Perfect Michelin all season sport. I use I inch wider tires for wheels protection against curbs.
Formula one stratus TINT ( dermatologist recommended ) all around including sunroof gives 99.9% UV reduction and about 45 % heat reduction . Warranty is transferable to new owner; also I use formula one tint on panoramic sunroof. Feels smooth and nice even with over 100 F degree.
Every day I enjoy what I drive. E 63 does not make coupes and by any means my E550 by Kleemann drives better and it is way more reliable.
Car is always garage parked, hand washed and chemical guys products used.
There are many small details and will be happy to share.
