Wanted to introduce myself, own a 2012 CL63 AMG for past year. Just signed up to start to learn more about these vehicles along with any modifications to improve the performance. I know some will say, but you've already got 536HP - lets just say can never have too much horsepower. Little about myself, have a BSME/MSME and have worked in the Automotive Industry for over 28years - previously in engine plants, OBDII calibration, product design / development (engines, intakes, exhaust). We enjoy cruising in our 1992 Corvette Convertible (35K original miles) on the weekends, we also have a 2007 Hummer H3 , 2015 Jeep Wrangler. Do perform most work on our vehicles myself in our garage, so I'm not worried about upgrading the CL63.
Only modification to the CL63 AMG is a set of Weistec Air filters. I'd really like to find out if there are any options for a more throaty exhaust / maybe new downpipe? Plus been thinking of an new ECU upgraded but i've seen many options, Weistec, RENNTech, MHB Motorsports - will probably ask questions on which is best. Unsure how many CL63 AMG owners out there that have upgraded their vehicles. So the search will begin!
