Newbie saying hello and asking a question

Hi I'm the owner of a 1990 SEC and an E55 that is new to the board. I'm a huge fan of the Pro-Touring and Resto-Mod car hobby and I wanted
to ask if there is a company or individual out there that is recoginzed as a wire and ECU leader??

My thoughts and plans are to utilize a Perfect 37,000 mile E55 driveline to replace the current SEC driveline. I'd ideally like to have a person or
company take on the project of stripping out any unnecessary wires in the harness with a view to moving the E55 ecu/s for the motor and trans
into the 560 SEC with the E55 driveline complete.. I really don't want to run a Motech system,, rather I'd like to keep it all Mercedes..

I already have a restoration shop in Nashville that I have worked with (and I am very confortable with) that will deal with the driveline swap into
the car and do steel widebody fenders and quarter flares from scratch.. Some pics of my car/s and a rendering I had done for me...

Once you have the wiring completed, I’d guess that HP Tuners could be used to tune it. Just have to check with them to make sure they support the Mercedes ECU you’ll be using.

Welcome! Great project idea. Keep us updated. Try posting in the W211 AMG section for driveline referrals.
