New member '20 Brilliant Blue E53 with mod updates
Hey MBworld,
I have been a gawker for some time now. FIgured i would post in case it maybe helpful to others and their builds.
Recently picked up an E53. Last year I started my journey with a '19 gray E450, amg package, night package and a few other options. I installed panamara blacked out grill. Had chrome bezel and front circle wrapped gloss black, pillars and back roof next to moonroof also wrapped gloss black + tint. Then was totaled out earlier this year.
A few months ago i picked up a e53 this time around. Boy this girl gets thirsty with S+ mode. Lol
'20 E53, coupe, Brilliant Blue, fairly loaded. Options i wish i has was PE, HUD.
I realy like the look and agressiveness of the E63 CF front lip. I am woundering if it can be added to the e53, despite them being different?
mods: panamara blacked out grill - amazon, MCARCAR kit E400carbon fober front bumper air vent outlet covers - amazon.
Motorola MA1. - Whats the best Android wireless adapter? I tried most with 19 e450 they all had there pluses and minuses. Wished apple emulators were stable and worked for widescreen and steering wheel controls.
Pretty awesome cell phone mount (3) parts:
1. Amazon ASIN # B097PR6725. Kucok store. Snaps into center dash between vents. Magnet is weak so buy car mount with strong magnet and transfer.
2. Amazon ASIN # B08V8NPY3Y Miracase mount for stronger magnet.
3. Buy a spool of foam padding strip from home depot or hardware store. Install on back of mount before snapping into car. It creaks when going down the road. Foam padding takes up space and makes for a tight/snug fit on car dash. Love this mount set up except when foot in in accelerator.
i have admired the S class head pillows. My girlfriend has a bad neck and absolutely dislikes it when i get into the gas. So i picked up the tan pillows from amazon ASIN # B09KXC136G. I must admit i generally like to use them as well. But my GF loves how they take up the space between her head and the head rest. I am thinking about getting her one for the corvette as well. So if SO has neck/back problems they may find this helpful
Todo:
Window tint, chin spoiler and side skirt, rear spoiler, maybe exhaust, black out rear emblems. Maybe use the black chrome emblems from amg CLE 53. Wrap front grill bezel and emblem circle in gloss black. No tune due to warranty. Tried piggyback on E450 last year but threw codes/Limp mode and didnt want to break engine so pulled it and sent it back to manufacturer. Thinking about having brown leather stained blue to match car aling with stitching too.
Thank you for stopping by and look forward to learning from the community.
Hope you have a great day,
Tim
