Hi all! Picked up the GLE43 about 2 weeks ago. Finished up all the maintenance on it, as it’s got just under 60k miles. The forum has definitely already helped with this and I thank you all!

Since buying:

1. New spark plugs (torqued to 23nm)
2. New engine air filters
3. New cabin air filters
4. Engine oil and filter change
5. Transmission pan/filter/fluid change
6. New primary battery
7. Center vent tab fix

Plus a medium cut on the paint to get it all back to good shape.

Welcome! Great looking GLE43! W166 with M276 is one of the most reliable MBs available today.

Good maintenance list. Consider doing:
- auxiliary battery replacement
- front axle oil change
- rear axle oil change
- t/case oil change
- ignition coils (with the next spark plug change)
- Gummi Pflege all dynamic seals (doors, liftgate, sliding roof)
- check that sliding roof drains are open/not blocked
- inspect rear spare tire area for water infiltration

Yep! Those are all on my list. Love me some gummi pflege.

Welcome, and woah! Now that is not your typical introduction post, good job on the DIY, make sure you drained the torque converter too.
