can some of you knowledge people out there assist ?

my car has developed a strange noise it’s when I am slowing down to about 10mph I can hear a tapping noise that’s coming from the back of the car, it doesn’t get any faster the noise when I speed up slightly it’s weird.
its only just started doing it.
it does if I go backwards or forwards

any help would be appreciated
