Howdy friends
I'll update this thread when I get mine installed.

I need to get my hands on a good diagnostic kit and start familiarizing myself with her. Other than the catch can in the PCV line I mentioned above, the rest of drivetrain will stay stock. I'm considering an Android based Infotainment with a more modern display though, and a while I'm at that I may try to get a remote start relay installed.
I'm kind of a car detail nerd too, so this is a great car for me. There are some sloppily touched-up paint chips in the hood I plan to deal with myself. I'm building a plan with a do-no-harm mentality.
The reason I came to buy this car is because my old daily driver GMC's AC decided to quite one hot June day. I only paid a few thousand for it, right before COVID and the car crunch. I put a lot of stock on the advice of The Car Wizard recommending the ML350, and seeing how undervalued they are in the market, I'd been looking at these a while and I thought it was a very practical choice, considering I maintain & repair my cars myself. I was prepared to buy what I needed to to get my AC working, but it seemed a good time to get what I consider a steal on a MB and deal with the GMC later. But as it turns out the GMC's AC started working again on its own after a few days. Since my job doesn't have covered parking, I still drive it to work most every day, and the ML350 stays in the garage and gets driven on the weekends.
