Hi I am Mike. I have been using the website to track down issues for awhile and decided to join...My Son had a 2012 e350 bluetec purchased in 2015, that lasted from about 30k miles to 186k without much fan fare. I do all the maintenance. First Mercedes...(It was recently rear ended by irresponsible driver and that was that.) . Going back to 2018, I promised wife that old 1994 Honda Accord would get a replacement at 300k miles. Ha! at 298k miles Speedo gear in tranny took a dump..HONEST !!! well any ways a year went by and my sons e350 was still doing so well that I finally replaced the Honda with 2015 e350 Sport that had 75k miles. it lasted to about 168k miles till it was side crunched by another irresponsible driver. So with all the nice things, power, passing, cruise, long trip comfort, I just got a 2016 e350 with 70k miles...I know the car inside and out and it will last another 5 to 10 years and 100k easily. BTW these were all 3.5 6 cylinders Sport editions with Panoramic roof, Roof and rear deck spoilers, Driver Massage chair, Satellite radio, premium sound Pre-Safe braking and Distronic Cruise with Lane control and braking down to zero in stop and go traffic.. Really worth it on busy highway during heavy traffic.... One thing that does not last is the Massage chair bladder tubing lines...So recently the original 2012 was replaced with an 2021 S560.. Dash is cool with full computer screen and plenty of features to mess with, and it has a Chauffeur like package. Rear pass seat has function to move front seat up and Rear seat recline with the Side curtains and ability to open the roof shade...sweet but alas it is my sons.. If I go somewhere with him I ride in the back !! Thanks for all the things I have learned before becoming a member of MBWORLD !!
