Hey yall, just checking in!
I appreciate being here and would love to expand my knowlegde, so thanks in advance! I'm based in Tennessee, recently bought and 02 e320. I've got stock bose system except the amp, the 12in sub, and the fold out aftermarket deck. Everything is original otherwise besides the tint.
I love this car and bought it for 2500 with 160k miles on it. It is an oldie but goodie for sure. She's a v6 and has power windows and seats which is great for an 02. I may repaint it or leave it, not sure yet. But I'll redo the wiring on my sound system and paint the rims black for sure.
Unfortunately as nice as she is she needs some minor repairs still.besides a battery swap, I have replaced some things on the back left wheel, and had the wiring fixed for the windows. (3 of 4 windows work because one needs a motor, and the sunroof wont go back just up) Otherwise I've flushed everything and kept up on oil changes as well as replaced fuses.
But still, I have a wiper issue that sucks during rainy season. It's a single front wiper which is kinda odd anyways. But I've checked the fuse and it's fine, but I wonder why it still works but cant wipe the middle of my windshield. It seems to shake when it swipes and the center still has water on it when its done. I bought a new wiper a month ago and it broke off while I was driving in the rain last week. I made it home safe and researched a better wiper and it's still no better.
I'll be working on getting a new sunroof slider somehow and having the motor checked for it. Besides that she takes a second to accelerate so I may have the spark plugs checked. Plus my windshield wiper fluid won't flow, but thats minor stuff I can manage along the way.
If anyone could shed light on the wiper issue I'd appreciate it, as well as the others.
I dont have much experience, but can catch on quick. TIA
